KashtKaar is a farmer-to-farmer learning and empowerment platform designed for small and marginal farmers across India.
The app aims to foster peer knowledge sharing, provide expert consultation, and enable access to farming products through a localized e-commerce experience. It leverages voice-first UX, regional storytelling, and gamified trust-building to increase adoption and impact.
Scope of Work

The Story
To uncover the emotional, behavioral, and contextual realities of Indian farmers — their challenges, motivations, and expectations from a digital platform.

Quantitative Research
During this phase, the goal was to validate patterns observed in qualitative interviews—especially around digital behavior, crop challenges, and trust in online platforms. The survey focused on scale and frequency to uncover broader trends.

To translate research insights into actionable design strategy by identifying core user needs, behaviors, and pain points through structured UX artifacts.

Information Architecture
To understand the current state of agricultural mobile apps in India, identify gaps, and validate the need for a community-driven, voice-first platform like KhetConnect.

Service Blueprint
Here’s a visual-style Service Blueprint for Kaastkaar, tailored for your case study deck. It maps the full experience of a farmer buying agricultural products through the app. The service blueprint helped us visualize all the backstage processes, technologies, and employee actions required to deliver the service, helping to identify operational inefficiencies and align internal efforts with the customer journey.

After getting my research done, now I have a clear picture of the user. What their goals are, What makes them frustrated, Where all the problem lies and How they are dealing with them.
